Hugh Jackman, star of Deadpool and Wolverine, has shared a “then and now” behind-the-scenes photo showcasing a reunion fans have eagerly anticipated since James Mangold’s Logan in 2017.
While the actor’s return was confirmed in the recent final trailer, some of you mentioned avoiding all marketing for the movie in a previous post. So, here’s your spoiler warning.
Dafne Keen will indeed reprise her role as Laura/X-23 in Marvel Studios’ Deadpool threequel, and reports suggest she will play a significant supporting role.
In the trailer, Laura tells Logan he was “always the wrong guy… until you weren’t,” which will likely serve as the final push he needs to assist the Merc With a Mouth in saving his world from Cassandra Nova’s threat.
Will Keen become the MCU’s new Wolverine? Although she won’t replace Logan (another actor will likely take over when Jackman steps away), she may still have a role in the X-Men franchise going forward.
Shawn Levy directs Deadpool and Wolverine from a script penned by Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Zeb Wells.
The film is scheduled to premiere in U.S. and Canadian theaters on July 26 and will be available in IMAX, RealD 3D, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, Cinemark XD, and other premium formats. Will you be catching Deadpool and Wolverine on opening weekend? Share your plans in the comments section.
